Dyslexia awareness raising in Hungary |

Embed project had the opprtunity to present its results at conference “Együtt az úton” (Helping Together) in Budapest, 22 April, an event organized by Öveges József High School and Vocational Centre. The conference focused on SEN supportive and inclusive pedagogy.  Anna Győrfi presented on assistive technology for dyslexic individuals, where our dyslexia supportive e-books, self-assesment tools and proposed assistive software solutions were introduced to teachers and dyslexia specialists. |

The fourth partners meeting - EMBED project |

Next 15 and 16th of April the fourth EMBED project partners meeting will take place in Florence (Italy) at PIXEL Head Office.
During the meeting, project partners will present all the project activities performed so far, and they will state the future objectives to achieve during the following months. |

EMBED project dissemination events |

Next Thursday the 25 and Saturday the 27 of Feburary, there will be held two dissemination events where the Embed project will be introduced and explained.
The events are addressed to Social Sciences and Education students and teachers, as well as to any other person interested in dyslexia issues.

- Thursday 25 of February. 19.00 hours. Faculty of Education. Zaragoza University.
- Saturday 27 of February. 11.00 hours. Faculty of Social Sciences and Education. Huesca University.

Conference "Dyslexia at adult age" |

The International Conference “DYSLEXIA AT ADULT AGE” organised by the Institute of Psychology and the Social Sciences Department of the University of Gdańsk with the Polish Dyslexia Association will be held on November 28 and 29, 2009 in the Social Sciences Department of Gdańsk University.
The objective of the conference is to disseminate and share knowledge, experiences and good practices in the field of dyslexia in adult age, with a particular focus placed on the rights and functioning problems of dyslexic students at the university level of education both in Poland and abroad. A number of renowned speakers from Poland and other countries will participate in the conference.
